New Places, New Faces

This has been exciting year for LC Interiors!

In January, we moved to the Loft Offices on Franklin Street.  The move was crazy, but completely worth it!  I love all of the light and extra space to spread out my beautiful fabrics and materials.  Having an office in the heart of Chapel Hill keeps me inspired and motivated. Who wouldn’t love to walk down these streets everyday?

You want to know an extra perk?  I just walked to get some lunch and ran into these guys:

Love them.

I also want to welcome a new member to the LC Interiors design team: Mary Ruth Kester.  She is a smart and talented designer who is a great asset to the firm.  Mary Ruth graduated from the Interior Design School at Meredith in 2010.  She is married with a 1 year old daughter.

Drop by the studio any time to meet her. You can also browse our extensive fabric library while you are here:

We are working on lots of fun projects, so tune back in for updates!

Happy New Year!

You only have one chance at a first impression.  Check out my blog post for CHM here to read about how to make a statement when selecting your front door style.

Hope everyone has a safe and fabulous new year’s celebration.

Let’s rewind. Whew!

The past few months have been a whirlwind.  I have been working on so many wonderful projects that I can’t wait to share with you! Make sure to tune back in for pictures of  a new construction home in Wake Forest and a  newly renovated dental office in Cary that are scheduled to finish in January! I have also completed several homes in Raleigh, Chapel Hill  and Cary.  More pictures of these projects to come as well!

Alright…I will get back on track.  Back in October, I attended the High Point Market.  Here are some of my favorite highlights:

1. Meeting Bunny Williams! Two words: Love. Her.

She has always been such an inspiration to me.  In addition to admiring her beautiful design work, I have loved using furniture and accessories from her new line: Beeline Home

P.S.: I thought my sister was going to try and smuggle that leather ottoman right out of the showroom!!! She asked me to remind her to incorporate it in her “dream home”.  Isn’t it fabulous?

2. Color, Color Everywhere!

Hot off the Press! Genevieve Gorder for Capel Rugs.

Loving these colorful books

Fabric Wrapped Coffee Tables

3. Interesting Lighting: all of my favorite lighting lines stepped it up this year!
